1. Lt. Joe Gullickson (L-101) Memorial Picnic
On Saturday, June 30th, 12pm-6pm, at Nansen's Park, 3465 Victory Blvd, in Staten Island there will be a picnic in honor of Lt. Joe Gullickson who perished on 9/11/01. 2. Intrepid Hosts FDNY Weekend with "Battle of the Bands"
On Saturday, July 14th & Sunday, July 15th, the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, located at West 48th Street and 12th Avenue, Manhattan, will honor members of the FDNY by hosting a "FDNY Appreciation Weekend". Activities will be taking place on both days, including an "FDNY Battle of the Bands." A total of 6 bands will be selected on a first come first served basis. The criteria is that one member of the band must be an active or retired member of FDNY Fire or EMS. Each band will play a 20-30 minute set. Bands should arrive between 10am and 11am. 3. "Battle Of The Boroughs" Cook-Off At The Intrepid
On Saturday, July 14th from 10:30am to 2:30pm, the Intrepid is hosting another "Battle of the Boroughs" Cook-off with prizes being awarded to top three teams. See instruction sheet attached to Dept.
