1. Community Mayors Day at Coney Island--Volunteers Needed
REMINDER: On Wednesday, May 9th at 11:30 am, Community Mayors Inc. is sponsoring a day for children with special needs at Luna Park, Coney Island. 2. Benefit for Beth Young
REMINDER: On Saturday, May 12th at 5pm there will be a fundraiser for Beth Young. Beth is the wife of FF Keith Young of TL-158. Beth has recently been diagnosed with advanced stages of breast cancer. Keith and Beth are the proud parents of 3 children. The members of TL-158/E-311 would like to return the favor for all the Young's have done for other members of the fire service. The fundraiser will be held at the Nassau County Firefighter's Museum located at 1 Davis Avenue (Museum Row) Garden City, NY 11530. Donations: $50 for adults, $25 for ages 18-21, FREE for children under 18. 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, live entertainment along with food and beverages will be provided. 3. FDNY Bravest vs. New England Law Enforcement Boxing Fundraiser
REMINDER: On Saturday, May 19th, at 7pm at the Foxwoods Resort Casino located at 350 Trolley Line Blvd Mashantucket, CT 06338. Bravest Boxing will be splitting the proceeds with Work Vessels for Veterans and the National Public Safety Athletic League. The Bravest Boxing Team will donate proceeds to various charities. 5. 1st Annual FF Billy Quick (L-134) Memorial Volleyball Tournament in Long Beach
Continuing in memory of the Lt. Williams Volleyball Tournament on Monday, June 11th (rain date June 18th) at 8am registration will begin at Riverside Blvd at the Beach in Long Beach, NY.
