2. Columbia Association 2012 Scholarship Competition
REMINDER: Applications for eligible family members of the Columbia Association are being accepted for H.S. & College Awards as follows: Candidates for College Awards (12th Grade Students) must submit applications, along with a copy of the Candidate's SAT scores, before April 1, 2012. Candidates for High School (8th Grade Students) must submit applications before March 1, 2012. Eligibility: Candidates for these awards may compete if a parent (natural, step or foster) is a member in good standing of the Columbia Association. Children of deceased members, who were in good standing at time of death, may also compete. 3. Lt. Randy Wiebicke (L-1) Plaque Dedication
REMINDER: On Friday, March 2nd at 11am, a plaque dedication will be held honoring the memory of Lieutenant Randy J. Wiebicke, L-1, who died on March 2, 2011. The dedication will take place in the quarters E-7/L-1, located at 100 Duane Street, New York, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
4. Bravest Football Club 40th Anniversary Alumni Reunion
On Sunday, March 4th from 1-5pm at Suspenders Restaurant located at 111 Broadway (btwn. Thames & Rector St.) in Manhattan there will be a Bravest football club 40th anniversary alumni reunion. All former and current players, coaches and staff are invited to attend. Tickets: $100 per person includes food, beverages, alumni baseball and challenge coin.
