Upper West Side Fire in Trump-Owned High-Rise Leaves 11 Hurt
UPPER WEST SIDE -- A pre-dawn fire left 11 people hurt, including a firefighter, after breaking out in a luxury high-rise building on the Upper West Side Tuesday. The blaze began in a third-floor apartment in the 42-story Trump Place at 180 Riverside Boulevard just after 5 a.m., FDNY officials said.

Of the injuries, ten were minor. One person was seriously hurt and taken to Cornell Hospital.
FDNY officials said the firefighter was only slightly hurt.
The fire, which required more than 20 units and nearly 80 firefighters, was under control about an hour after it started, fire officials said.
The blaze appeared to be contained to the apartment and didn't spread to the other units of the fire-proof building.
The cause was under investigation, fire officials said.
