As we proceeded with this grievance case pertaining to the improper scheduling for RSOT tours within SOC, the FDNY filed a petition to the Office of Collective Bargaining challenging arbitrability. Their motion was denied and the UFA request for arbitration was granted. We now await dates for arbitration hearings. A complete copy of the OCB decision was mailed to every delegate of a SOC unit. PARKINSON'S UNITY WALK - FUND THE RESEARCH, FIND THE CURE, JOIN THE FUN
On Sunday, September 26, 1999 the sixth annual Parkinson's Unity Charity Walk will be held in NYC's Central Park . The Parkinson's Unity Walk is a grass roots organization founded and run by Parkinson's disease patients and their loved ones. Every dollar donated to the Walk by individual contributors is distributed to the endorsing foundations and used for research to find a cure, as all expenses are covered by corporate sponsors. Check-in time at 11:30, program begins at 12 noon, & walk begins at 1:00 pm. Start/finish is the Bandshell at 72nd Street. Team entries available. Join Frank Field, Michael J.
