FD vs. PD Memorial Gaelic Football Game
This year's Gaelic Football Game between the Police Department and the Fire Department will be played on Friday, June 23, 2000 starting at 6:00 p.m. at Gaelic Park West 240th Street and Broadway, Bronx, New York.

The game will be played in honor of James Simpson, a member of the NYPD, 20th Detective Squad, Manhattan. Jimmy passed away suddenly leaving behind his wife and 4 children. His children also continue in the Gaelic tradition playing minor football with the St. Raymonds Club in Throggs Neck.

DJ at the park. Game is rain or shine. There is a $10 donation at the door. Proceeds will be donated to both fire and police charities.

Upstate Blood Drive
BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS. You provide the blood and we'll guarantee it's no sweat and almost no tears. On Friday, June 16, 2000, The New York City Firefighters of Putnam and Northern Westchester will host a Blood Drive. The Blood Drive will take place at the Daniel O'Brian V.F.W. Hall, located at Glenieda Ave (Rt. 52), Carmel, NY (between Putnam Motors and Drew Methodist Church), from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be food and refreshments. Due to the Fourth of July holiday the blood supply is low and the demand is high. All those who can, are encouraged to give. Walk-ins are welcome. Community Mayors Trip To Astroland
COMMUNITY MAYORS TRIP TO ASTROLAND
The New York State Community Mayors, an organization devoted to assisting handicapped and disabled children, will be hosting the annual 'Day at Astroland' on Wednesday, June 14th.

VOLUNTEERS are needed at 0900 hours at Coney Island's Astroland Park. Assemble at the canteen truck and report to Community Mayors board members. Off duty members, in uniform, are urged to donate a few hours assisting these children and helping them enjoy a day of fun at
