SLOW DOWN THOSE REQUESTS TO FDNY PENSION OFFICE Due to lack of assistance, Al Connolly is unable to spend the proper amount of time with the high volume of members currently requesting pension information. He physically can’t see everyone. Too many members are prematurely asking for specifics about their personal buy back time. Please wait until you are ready to retire, which is when you will actually buy this time. Al is attempting to train new people on this special task, to better serve the membership’s needs. It may take a couple of months. Meanwhile, hold your curiosity about buy back costs and pension printouts on the back burner until it is really necessary to request calculations. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation. Please copy and post. Back To Top CONTINUED VIOLATIONS OF PAID 5/74, OVERTIME While being an outstanding arbitration, the administration continues to violate different aspects of this policy. Continuing in this mode, Operations has issued what we believe to be an illegal order concerning the limitation on “other O/T†for members who are red lined (on the computer printout) under the MMOT category. Being red lined has no bearing on any opportunities for additional pay such as awaiting relief, portal to portal, CFR-D, training or teaching, RSOT, parades, special events, etc. It ONLY relates to and can only restrict minimum manning overtime (MMOT). Having over 20 years on the job also has no place in overtime restrictions. Document every instance of overtime restriction which falls outside the legal parameters of red lined or single asterisk members shown on the official computer printout - which can ONLY apply to MMOT. Thorough documentation will help our case. Send Bill Mirro your name/company/battalion of occurrence, complete description of denial, date and tour, copy of any related memo, and quotes made to you. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
