- Important Meeting at UFA Office
The first meeting will take place on the 4th floor at the UFA office on Tuesday, February 11th, 2003 at 11am. Individual participants are invited, and teams are asked to send a representative. The UFA will provide application forms and venue information. We will also discuss available hotel accommodations and airlines. The Games take place July 27 -- August 3 in Barcelona, Spain this Summer. Over 300 FDNY members participate, and over 10,000 athletes from around the world compete.
- Time is Running Short
Applications and fees must be postmarked by March 1st. Registration books may be ordered at www.2003WPFG.org. Hurry--because time is running short (We will have somecopies available). In order to estimate the number of members planning to attend the games, please provide the below info and return fax this form ASAP to Ed Burke, UFA Sports Chairman at 212-683-0690.
