On Saturday, March 1st, in Madison Square Garden at 12:00 noon, the Quinnipiac University vs. University of Connecticut (Uconn) Heroes Hat Hockey Game Award honors FF Joe Mascali R-5, father of two Quinnipiac University students, who was lost on 9-11. Reminder: on Monday, March 3rd, many FFs from PA, NJ & NY will participate in this resort’s 15th annual Race. Five person teams of firefighters in full turnout gear race down the slalom course while holding the same 50-foot hose. Individuals wishing to compete will be assigned to pickup teams. Race registration is from 9am to 11am. Races start at 11:30am. The $30 pp fee includes a full day lift ticket, awards ceremony with lunch buffet, prizes and a raffle.
